Motor, World's Simplest Review
The World's Simplest Motor - Just as the name states this is a very simple motor. -- Operation involves a coil of wire, a magnet, and a battery. The motor works because electricity runs through the coil and a magnetic field is formed. The coil pushes away from the magnet with enough force to turn it around. As the coil turns, it becomes charged and spins. -- The motor was designed by science teacher Bruce Yeany, whose many other Teacher Developed, Classroom Tested products can be found throughout this CD. -- Includes: assembly instructions and suggested experiments. A D cell battery is required but not included.
